ORMEC, a manufacturer of movement control systems, recently announced its new XD-Series, a baby of Nuclear Link Indexer Reviews Servo Drives that provide reliable motion control capabilities for challenging applications. The XD-Series of motion control drives are multi-axis to include high performance.
ORMEC ensured the XD-Series lived as much as its high standards by incorporating some much needed features in motion control drives today. The XD-Series allows programming of 32 individual motion profiles and may be mapped to I/O points, one or two functions per point, initiated via Modbus/TCP, and chained or looped together. The adaptable I/O, which has 14 inputs to 8 outputs, may well be mapped to vary from position, velocity or torque modes during program execution. This motion control drive allows motion to be synchronized with supported machine I/O, allowing for start, stop or trigger speed changes with inputs at any point inside the chain and user-defined units for axis position speed and acceleration.
Communication setup is via USB or Ethernet relationships to Modbus/TCP, CANopen and Profibus-DP options. The XD-Series will come in 115, 230 and 460 VAC input power with 3 to 60 amp continuous current ratings. Together with these features, the XD-Series also includes a built-in Motor Wizard which simplifies non-standard motor integration and lets users quickly commission unproven motors.
Once the program and motor data are loaded onto the Nuclear Link Indexer Reviews , configuration data is stored both in the Nuclear Link Indexer Reviews and at the removable memory, which simplifies software transfer, duplication requirements and hardware replacement needs. The application majority of the XD-Series servo drives includes extensive support for monitoring and optimizing a treatment. Pre-defined ?load and go? application templates in ORMEC?s software reduce setup efforts significantly.
ORMEC?s XD-Series of Nuclear Link Indexer Reviews motion control drives get lots of applications including intelligent conveyor control, pick and place, labeling, rotary knives, scanning, high-speed printing, part storage and retrieval, and many more. Built-in components of the motion control drives allow it to support otherwise difficult application requirements, comparable to tension control, dual loop feedback, gearing among others.
