Keyword phrases also known as long tailed keywords are keywords usually made up of 3 words. What you do online normally revolves around long tailed keywords so it’s very important to know this one. You can use the Google Keyword Tool, which is free, or many other online versions, which are not, to find a great list of keywords associated with your niche market. You just have to start using fairly broad term then burrowing down to find a nice long list of highly targeted keywords consisting 3 or more words. When you have your keyword list you can then use those keywords for many things like article marketing and on site search engine optimization (SEO). This will enable your website or your articles to show up high on the first page of Google for a particular keyword. Which means a lot of highly targeted traffic to your website all free of charge.
Another important thing to keep in mind, you need to make sure that the keywords you choose not just have a decent number of monthly searches, and that they aren’t too competitive, but also that they’re highly relevant to the content of your website. This is another parameter the search engines use to look for the rank of your site. When the keywords that you’re targeting don’t relate really closely to your website you won’t rank as high for that keyword. Social media marketing services also use keywords on their sites. It is not a big deal, just get rid of any of the words on your list that don’t relate directly to your website.
