You almost certainly know somebody like Stanley. He's a web retailer who did not know how to use social media to raise his sales and brand. He tried purchasing Facebook ads, but the traffic still dripped and his conversion rate was low. It was not till he decided to make an internet party that he began to see a real difference. It increased traffic and it also helped him build authority in his niche.

Your social media presence is the face of your brand. You probably view most sites because they were referred to you by friends on Facebook, Twitter, and so on. It’s how we interact with the web. We loaf around with our chums and learn about new stuff that we check out on the internet. When you can build relations thru social media you increase the chances of being known, liked and trusted by your customers. These relations dictate what people say about your brand.

Figuring out how to get people to rave about you isn’t straightforward because you don't give them a rationalization to share your story with their friends. You've got to inspire this by creating an event worth talking about “a place for people to hook up with other people who also love your product/service.

It’s why I encourage people to throw online parties that get people talking about you, interacting with you and learning from you. If you don't take this time they will go to another company that wants to form a relationship with their customers.

My mate David has a reasonably preferred life coachingblog with e-products for sale. He needed to throw a Twitter party to boost his sales. He had some traction on his blog and Twitter, but he lacked the buzz factor. So we made a party to commemorate the folk that he worked with and wished to promote.

4 weeks later he informed me that it was one of the best business calls he has ever made. He was getting referrals from folk he helped promote. He also increased his Twitter presence and made his network stronger.

Your business has many openings which can push sales and build presence online. The idea is to make something that spreads your message/products so helping others build their business too.

To do that you must do 3 things:

1. Reach out to folks you can partner with

There are folk in your community that don't know how awe-inspiring you are. They need to know about what you do. The only possible way to try this is to make a touch that puts you on their radar.

2. Have a good time with your promoting

Whatever social media plan you have, whether it being tutorial YouTube videos or blog content that builds your authority, you want to enjoy your work. If you're doing web promoting because you think you have to, then stop now. You will not get anywhere till you do selling you enjoy doing.

3. Throw online parties that get folks meeting new people

Throwing an online party should not just be about you and how awe-inspiring your products are. You want to target folks besides yourself. You might need to do what David did by throwing a party for other business owners or concentrate on building your community. If you concentrate on teaching rather than selling you'll have a load more success building authority and building your clan, which will end up in higher conversation rates on your website.

Your social media selling should target helping others. By being helpful you take the focus away from making sales and essentially build a loyal group of shoppers. You will see sales increase, but you will also build a bunch of shoppers that tell all their friends about what you do and how they have to check you out on your internet site, Facebook page, and Twitter account.
